New Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit

St. John's Regional Medical Center - Oxnard

New Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit Expansion Program: The NICU at St. John’s has set the standard for Ventura County and beyond, with excellent care and forward thinking initiatives.  Providing exceptional care for our smallest patients requires exceptional accommodations.  
We are developing a new area of the hospital, which will include the following special features:

  • 18 Private NICU Rooms
  • 4 private NICU Rooms can open into suites to accommodate twins
  • Private Isolation NICU Rooms
  • Support & Storage Space
  • On-Call Sleep Room
  • Repertory Therapy Prep Room
  • Family Lounge (w/Kitchenette & Shower)
  • New Nursing Stations, adjacent to all private NICU rooms 

Labor and Delivery Expansion and Modernization Project

St. John's Regional Medical Center - Oxnard

We are overjoyed with all of the new arrivals at St. John's Regional!  As part of our expansion and modernization program, we will be welcoming our new babies into a newly expanded women’s area, with a designated entrance, new lobby, plenty of parking and exciting new features including the following:

  • 4 New Labor and Delivery Rooms with bathing options
  • 2 Private Triage Rooms
  • 1 Semi-Private (2 Bed) Triage Room
  • New Women's Center Entrance
  • New Waiting Women's Center Waiting Room
  • Designated Patient Discharge
  • New Staff Lounge and Locker Room
